Custom Shipping Container Man Cave

Storstac is currently building two bespoke shipping container man caves right here at our Toronto fabrication facility. Micro architecture and the Tiny House Movement is rapidly gaining popularity right around the world and Storstac is contributing to the movement with the introduction of custom designed shipping container man caves and/or get away spaces. Constructed out of ISO Shipping Containers, these architecturally rich micro shipping container living spaces are custom designed (By Jason Halter of Wonder Inc and New Old Stock) and built from the ground up to suit each clients specific tastes. The first of the two man caves (which is headed to L.A.) is 100% off grid and includes various amenities like solar power, an off grid toilet, 16′ sliding door, walk out wood deck and a fully tiled walk out shower. Other bespoke,  finishing touches like ceder plank walls and a shower/washroom fully outfitted in Calcutta tiles are included in the build. The second man cave plays with a different interior concept emphasizing open space. This micro sized space will again include a large 16′ sliding door, cedar plank walls and will be the perfect escape space that would complement and work with an existing cottage or house. These micro sized shipping container man caves/get away spaces are compact and perfect for a host of applications including dropping them at a cottage/waterfront property, or adding them to your existing home. These are fantastic ideas of what to do with shipping containers! I never thought of something like that and it seems to really work well and be really resourceful. I’ll have to look into getting a custom shipping container so that I can build something similar hopefully!
